Mushroom

What you need:

• Parachute.

How to play:

• Spread the students evenly around the parachute and instruct them to hold on with both hands.
• From a standing position, participants make waves by moving their arms up and down.
• On the leader’s command everyone raises the parachute high over their heads and then sits down quickly inside the parachute – a mushroom effect is created.

Variations:

• Everyone mushrooms then let’s go.
• Everyone mushrooms then runs to the centre still holding the parachute.
