One of the younger SmartStart leaders, Sam graduated with an Advanced Diploma in Sport and Rec Management last year. Coming from a big family, Sam has been surrounded by children all of her life and also works for the Active After Schools Communities Program.
“Going into schools and making sure that all children have the opportunity to participate in physical activity, regardless of skill level, is extremely important. I really enjoy giving back and making sure the next generation have a love of sport and physical activity and aren’t afraid to give things a go, even if they haven’t participated before.” Sam is a keen basketball player and has 17 nephews and nieces becoming an Aunt for the first time when she was just 2 weeks old! |
